AOH ND1 James Cahill Memorial Scholarship

Formally known as the AOH Notre Dame Division Scholarship, The AOH ND1 James Cahill Memorial Scholarship was renamed to honor Brother Cahill, who has done great things for our division. Brother Cahill moved to Florida, he was instrumental in the creation and development of our division. After his passing, we renamed this scholarship. This post-secondary scholarship is offered to any active member in good standing, his children, grandchildren, OR great-grandchildren.
The AOH takes great pride in the accomplishments of its members AND their families. It is with this pride that we offer you the opportunity to be this years AOH ND1 James Cahill Memorial scholarship recipient. You can apply using the Google form link listed below. All applications are required to be submitted by the start of March's meeting. No late submissions will be considered. The recipient will be announced at April's meeting, and invited to May's divison meeting for the presentation of the award.
2022 Scholarship Recipient
This year's James Cahill A.O.H. Notre Dame Division 1 Montgomery County University Scholarship recipient is James Bartley. Jimmy is the son of A.O.H. Notre Dame Division 1 Montgomery County member Dennis Bartley and L.A.O.H. Division 2 Montgomery County member Joanne Bartley. Jimmy has been accepted to, and has the intention of attending, Chestnut Hill College in the fall of 2022. As a student at Upper Merion High School, Jimmy was involved in the Viking Call (Newspaper Club), Gaming Club, and Bowling League. He also volunteered in the School Library and at the Special Olympics. Besides his extracurricular activities James has achieved several academic honors such as Honor Roll Award, Distinguished Honors Award, and Spanish Honor Society Award.
In his own words James wants to use this scholarship "... to pursue a
higher education in the hopes that I can obtain the best education possible and forge a career path that I will not only enjoy pursuing, but one that will allow me to financially support both myself and my future family."
